While the platform is externally provided, my focus is on how it’s used through content strategy, communication, and ongoing optimization.
Even the best intranet fails if employees don’t use it. My role is to make it useful, intuitive, and part of their daily workflow through strategic content and communication

Drive initial adoption
Position the intranet as the primary and most reliable place for company information
Improve content accessibility and clarity
Increase ongoing team member engagement
Continuously optimize through data and feedback
Gather information from team members and see how they use the current intranet. This can be done by a company-wide survey, conversations with leadership, and/or small in-person/zoom focus groups.
Example question: What types of internal communication are the most effective when reaching branch team members from across the country?
Create a generalized persona of a World Finance team member including their pain points, needs, and wants.
Start to piece together what works and what doesn’t.
Brainstorm with team using the information gathered above. This can be done through affinity diagramming, etc.
Begin developing a plan for implementation.
Develop strategy with ongoing iterations based on feedback from user testing.
User testing can include allowing a small pool of team members to access a private webpage on the intranet and record feedback from their experience.
With that feedback, we would update the webpage before publishing.
